CVI am a German-American Master’s student with a bicultural background and an international outlook, driven by a genuine curiosity about people, ideas, and the ways technology and public policy shape our societies. Growing up in both Germany and the United States influenced not only how I see the world but also how I engage with it.

Having lived in Bonn, Detroit, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Munich, and Berlin, I learned early on that adaptability is one of life's greatest strengths. Backpacking through Thailand, exploring northern Vietnam by motorcycle, and spending time in Japan reinforced that lesson and sparked an even deeper passion for discovering unfamiliar places, embracing uncertainty, and connecting with people whose experiences differ from my own. Some of my greatest moments of growth have come from stepping outside my comfort zone.

Colleagues and peers describe me as analytical, self-directed, positive under pressure, and someone they can always rely on. I enjoy working in fast-paced, international environments where initiative and teamwork go hand in hand. I admire German precision, American pragmatism, and the warmth, discipline, and courtesy I have encountered throughout Southeast Asia. And I strive to bring the best of each into the way I think and work.

Above all, I believe that intellectual curiosity, cultural appreciation, and the willingness to bring together different perspectives are essential for solving tomorrow’s challenges. They continue to shape not only my academic and professional ambitions but also the person I hope to become.

About me
Academically, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich (LMU) and am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Politics & Technology at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

My studies focus on the intersection of governance, emerging technologies, and public policy, with a particular interest in artificial intelligence, balanced digital regulation, and designing frameworks that are both effective and socially responsible. I am especially fascinated by how technological innovation can be aligned with democratic values and create meaningful benefits for society.

Education
My professional experience spans research, public policy, political institutions, and stakeholder engagement.

Through roles at the Mayor’s Office of International & Immigrant Affairs in Atlanta, the Berlin office of German Member of Parliament Sebastian Roloff, Bernstein Group Public Policy, and as a research assistant at LMU Munich, I am honing my skills to translate complex political and regulatory issues into practical insights and actionable guidance while working across disciplines and with diverse stakeholders.

Starting in August 2026, I will join appliedAI in Munich as a Working Student in AI Change & Enablement. In this role, I will contribute to research, content development, and project support aimed at helping organizations adopt artificial intelligence in responsible and meaningful ways. What excites me most is working at the intersection of technology, communication, and implementation, helping make AI more human-centered.

Leadership roles, including serving as Head of the Munich team at youmocracy e.V. and as Student Council President and Treasurer at LMU, have further strengthened my organizational skills, sense of responsibility, and collaborative leadership style.

I am a native speaker of German and English, speak Spanish at an intermediate level (B1), and am currently learning Korean. For me, languages are far more than communication tools, they are gateways to understanding, trust, and lifelong friendships across cultures. I hope to continue building bridges between people, ideas, and disciplines wherever my career takes me.
